春季清明城隍出巡日 Lord Cheng Huang conducting Spring Season Inspection

城隍出巡﹐一年最少有三回(有些區域﹐出巡日期有別)﹕

1 – 清明節

2 – 中元節
3 – 寒衣節

清明出巡稱為”收鬼”﹐民間又稱”鬼告陰狀”﹐是為城隍辦理無主孤魂”收容”事宜並為一些冤魂辦理”申訴”之事。

中元出巡稱為”濟鬼”﹐民間又稱”給鬼安身”﹐是為城隍慈悲分發”食物及用品”給不得參與”普度”的魂眾們。

寒衣出巡稱為”探鬼”﹐ 民間又稱”給鬼添衣”﹐ 是為城隍可憐無主孤魂而”贈送寒衣”﹐避免來臨”冬季”受寒天影響。

Usually this event will occur at least 3 times per year;

1^st on Qing Ming Festival

2^nd on Zhong Yuan Festival

3^rd on Sending of Winter Clothing Festival

These 3 Days, Lord Cheng Huang will look into the individual request of the Wandering or “Homeless” Soul and provide the necessary assistances to them.
