Days of Taoist Deities descend onto the Mortal Realm for Salvation & Blessing 3 (道教諸真下降日)

 

In Taoism Calendar, on different days or Festivals, different Deities will descend onto the Mortal Realm to provide the necessary blessings or perform the Salvation Tasks.

 

In here, I will provide the First Set of Days and the particular Deities that descend onto the Mortal Realm:

 

7^th Day of every Lunar Month (每月初七)

 

Lord Bei Dou aka The Great Dipper of the North (北斗七元星君下降日)

 

On the 7^th Day of every Lunar Month, as mentioned in Taoist Scripture Tai Shang Xuan Ling Bei Dou Ben Ming Yan Sheng Miao Jing (太上玄靈北斗本命延生玅經), Lord Bei Dou will descend onto the Mortal World to do the necessary blessings.

 

On this Day, after doing the inspections and checking on the Mortals or other Living Beings, Lord Bei Dou will do the issuing & blessings according to the credits & merits of the Beings.

 

For those who accumulated Good credits & merits, one self will be entitled to Good Luck and extending of Life-span, whereas for those who are being found that one self keep doing bad deeds, the one selfs luck will be eliminated and the Life-span will be deducted according to the Bad Deeds one self accumulated.

 

In Taoism, we have a Ritual/Ceremony known as Li Dou (禮斗) or Bai Dou (拜斗), translated as Honouring the Nine Stars of the Great Dipper (北斗九皇星君), this is to assist those who have accumulated Good credits & merits to enhance for Better Luck and also, to prolong one selfs Life-span.

 

For those who have accumulated enough credits and merits and yet being infected by sickness & illness, by participate in the Ritual/Ceremony, after the Ritual/Ceremony, the ill person can request certain items from the Taoist Priests to assist in curing the illness or sickness.

 

For those who can do chanting on the Bei Dou Scripture or recite on the Bao Gao (寶誥) of Lord Bei Dou, that will be better and encourage.

 

PS: Best time to do the chanting or reciting of the Scripture & Bao Gao, other than the 7^th Day of every Lunar Month, it will be on the Birthday of one self, Birthdays of Parent & Birthdays of any Deities.
