Banner of Empress Dong Yue Bao Gao (東嶽皇后寶誥)

In here, you all will be seeing another rare Bao Gao dedicated to Empress Dong Yue (東嶽皇后) aka The Wife of Lord Emperor Dong Yue aka Eastern Mountain Tai (泰山東嶽大帝).

During the Ritual to honour Lord Dong Yue, the Scripture of Dong Yue Chan (東嶽寶懺) will be chanted. In this Scripture, the various Bao Gao dedicated to Empress Dong Yue and the Children of Lord Dong Yue were being recited. It is considered quite rare to be seen in South East Asia.

In Taoism, Empress Dong Yue was being well-known for giving Blessing to couples for having Offspring.
