「大年初五日」﹐又稱【隔開日】或【破五日】﹐有些地方則會稱為【送五(五窮)日】。
最早起源可追溯至【晉朝】或【唐朝中葉】。
早期【隔開日】﹐是將一切在「大年初一日」所遺留下來的【垃圾】﹐帶到外頭清理﹐以釋義「壞的去﹐好的來」﹐而演變至今﹐也有人把【隔開日】稱為【送窮日】或【打小人日】﹐也就是把一些「壞心眼」的人們「隔開」﹐切斷一切交往。
而在【年節習俗】上﹐這天則得將「大年初一日」上供的供品全部取下﹐將【神案】清理乾淨﹐以等待【財神福神喜神】降臨。
注﹕【本門】通常在「隔開」後﹐會準備「一份新」的【桔子】及【清水】作為【供品】。
Fifth
Day of Lunar First Month is known as Ge Kai Day, which means Clearing of
Rubbish Day or Sending Off Poverty Day.
In some
places, on this Day, people will also practised Sending Off of Back-stabbers or
disconnecting any form of relationships with those people whom oneself wanted
not to meet anymore.
In Lunar
New Year or Taoism Practises, this Day, Taoists had to clean the Altar and retrieve-down
all the Offerings that were being offered on the First Day, this is to make
sure that the Altar is Clean and Neat for the ushering of Deities of Wealth,
Prosperity & Happiness.
PS: For
LSM, after doing Ge Kai, Jave will prepare a new set of Oranges and 3 cups of
Water to offer to the Deities.
