【潮州感天大帝】，又稱【伯益公】，係為「上古治洪」之【大功臣】，因而被「褒嘉」【嬴姓】，更是後來「天下嬴姓之始祖」。

 

除此以外，【伯益公】也是【徐姓】、【秦姓】暨【趙姓】之【祖上】。

 

於【民間】，【潮州感天大帝伯益公】，常被「誤認」為【福建感天大帝許旌陽】。

 

而如今之【民間】，把【潮州感天大帝伯益公】「形象」以【隆鎮降虎洪仙大帝】之「形象」為「標準」，這其實是「錯誤」的！
