甲午馬年夏季龍神朝玉皇之期 Annual Summer Reporting for Dragon Deities to Celestial Palace 2014

每年的農曆五月(蒲月/夏季)為三界四海五方九壘諸位龍神回天庭朝見玉皇大天尊之期。

農曆蒲月廿二日為各部龍神聚集與”天門亭”。也就相傳從這天起﹐雨量會減少至龍神回歸本位。

農曆蒲月廿九日為各部龍神分組覲見玉皇大天尊並上奏該年相關事宜。如果當天下雨﹐便是上蒼垂憐眾生。

農曆荔月初二日為各部龍神回駕之日﹐此日通常會有細雨或雷雨。

該日﹐民間為了祈求來年風調雨順等﹐會在龍神案前供上清水三碗﹐青竹/竹葉十二支以及白飯三碗。

祭祀後﹐將青竹/竹葉焚化﹐在火即將熄滅時﹐將三碗清水倒於火邊﹐之後將白飯於家人分著吃﹐這樣就能祈求一年豐收﹐三餐溫飽或熱毒驅散。

Every Year Lunar 5^th Month is the Month for the various Dragon Deities in the Three Realms reporting back to the Celestial Palace to do their annual reporting to Jade Emperor of Heaven for the Summer Season.

The main Day of the reporting takes place on 29^th Day of Lunar 5 Month, which for Year 2014, it falls on 26 June, a Thursday.

Before the Actual Day of the Reporting, the various Dragon Deities will gradually report back, by areas, and in Traditional Belief, from the day of the Reporting back, the frequency of Rainfall will decrease and this will only resume back after All Dragon Deities got back to their Work-position on 2^nd Day of Lunar 6 Month.

On this Day, the Taoists/Chinese will prepare 3 bowls of Clean Water, 12 sticks of Bamboos/Bamboo Leaves and 3 bowls of cooked rice.

After the honouring, the Bamboos will be burnt and before the fire goes off, the water will be sprinkle around the fire. Upon completion, the rice will be distributed among the family members for consuming.

This practise is to request for Good Harvesting and Prosperity Blessing.

旱災促成火燒野。

無雨滋潤難下田。

雲層雖厚風卻大。

水昇也難飽和填。 

至心恭請龍神來。

奉送風神歸班列。

三界聖水聚一氣。

甘露下降九重天。

皈命。三清三境大天尊。

皈命。十方降福大天尊。

皈命。法雨流潤大天尊。

The main Day of the reporting takes place on 15th Day of Lunar 9 Month, which for Year 2013, it falls on 19 Oct, a Saturday.

On this Day, the Taoists/Chinese will prepare 3 bowls of Clean Water, 12 sticks of Bamboos/Bamboo Leaves and 3 bowls of cooked rice.
