‎12th Day of Lunar 6 Month (農曆六月十二日) is known as the Birthday of Huang Gu Niang (南洋黃姑娘) aka Maiden Ng, our own local Deity that resided in the Old Kampong Silat.

For year 2014, the Birthday of Huang Gu Niang falls on 08 July, a Tuesday.

Today, we are able to see a small shrine set-up along Hospital Drive (directly opps the Sikh Temple at Jalan Bukit Merah).

For those who are interested in paying respect to Huang Gu Niang, do drop by this weekend at this Hospital Drive.

農曆巧月廿六日 - 新加坡龜仔山黃姑娘"慈悲普施"。

在舉行了癸巳蛇年的最後一場中元濟度儀式﹐小道與弟子前往新加坡中部龜仔山﹐向黃氏姑娘敬香並為當地孤幽眾舉行"慈悲普施"儀式。

一切如往常一樣﹐非常順利。

很感謝龜仔山黃姑娘在過去三年的護佑﹐使的該區人民出入平安。

本門也很榮幸能為龜仔山黃姑娘盡點薄力﹐以黃姑娘之聖名為當地孤幽眾行"慈悲普施"儀式。

在不久的將來﹐本門將竭盡所能﹐為龜仔山黃姑娘及其他兩位姑娘媽(紅山林姑娘及四腳亭雷姑娘)﹐塑造聖像﹐以便讓更多善信能來敬香祈求平安。

On the 26th Day of Lunar 7 Month, LSM had visited Maiden Huang's Shrine to accord our respect to her and on behalf of Maiden Huang, LSM had conducted the Lunar 7 Month Offerings to the Wandering Souls in the respective area.

May Maiden Huang continue to provide her blessing for the People staying around the area and hope that, soon enough, LSM will be able to order-made her Statue, in-order to honour her in one of our Branches.
