15th Day of Lunar 1 Month (農曆端月十五日) is also considered as the Manifestation Anniversary (華誕) of Empress Shun Tian (順天聖姆) aka Madam Lin Shui Chen Jing Gu (臨水夫人陳靖姑).
Madam Lin Shui Chen Jing Gu, a Taoist Female Deity that being appointed to take charge of the Safety of Pregnant Ladies, the Smoothness of the Labour Delivery and also, the Lives of New Born Infants.
In Year 2012, Madam Lin Shui Chen Jing Gu’s Anniversary falls on 06 Feb, a Monday.
So in Singapore, what can Oneself do to honour Madam Lin Shui?
For Taoists, we can just prepare the Taoist 5 Offerings/10 Offerings (道教五供/十供) to honour Madam Lin Shui as these Offerings can consider as the Highest Respect in Taoist Culture.
Besides that, Oneself can add in some Traditional Cake/Cookies (傳統糕點) stuffs such as Longevity Peach Buns (壽桃包), Longevity Noodles (壽麵), Huat Kueh (發糕), Ang Ku Kueh (紅龜粿) & Ang Ee (紅圓包).
And also, 8 – 12 Red Eggs (八至十二粒紅蛋) for the Blessing of Good Health for Ladies and Elderly, Good Life for Children and also, Opening of Wisdom for Students.
As for the Paper Offerings, actually for us Taoists, we can save up the Paper Offerings, as long as Oneself is able to prepare 3 sticks of Good Long Incenses and a pair of 24hours Red Candles for Madam Lin Shui, Oneself and the whole Family will be Blessed.
Remember to write the 8 – 12 Chinese Characters on the Red Eggs before the Honouring:
1 – 乾/坤/天/地/日/月/星/辰 or
2 – 乾/坤/天/地/日/月/星/辰/福/祿/壽/喜

In Singapore, oneself can Honour Madam Lin Shui Chen Jing Gu at Singapore Pu Tian Association Ma Zu Temple located at Geylang Lor 33.
