種火之祖崑崙老母 The Mother of All Fire

崑崙老母﹐又稱通天老母或大老母元君﹐是三界之內萬火之祖。

在”灶王真經”之中﹐上清靈寶天尊稱她為” 種火之母”。

在這”灶王真經”之中﹐崑崙老母既是當時的”灶神”﹐該職責為管理三界之內所有”灶神家眷”﹐如﹕

東方青帝灶君。南方赤帝灶君。
西方白帝灶君。北方黑帝灶君。
中央黃帝灶君。五方五帝灶君夫人。
天廚靈灶神君。地廚神灶神君。
曾灶祖灶神君。灶公灶母神君。
灶夫灶婦神君。灶子灶孫神君。
灶家姊妹媳婦春屬神君。
五方游奕神君。灶下炊濤神女。
運火左右將軍。
進火神母。游火童子。
天帝嬌男。天帝嬌女。
囪中童子童男童女。
等等。

之後也有記載為如今的”灶君”既是崑崙老母所”生”或”化”。

Kun Lun Lao Mu was being mentioned in the Kitchen Deity Scripture by Supreme Lord Ling Bao, addressing her as the Patron Deity for All sorts of Fire in these Three Realms.

Other than that, her secondary task was to look-after/Supervise ALL the different categories of Kitchen Deities.
