These Symbols can also be drawn on the Palm for self-protection while oneself is out in the field or recce in jungles (
書於掌中為掌雷).

For the 3rd Set, its known as the Official Taoist Five Thunder Talismans that being pass-down by Heavenly Master Zhang (正一張天師) from various Eras or from High Priests whom had attained their Immortality.

Nowadays, such Talismans are hardly seen, as not much Taoists or People do know of their existing or No-one is able to know how to use it or evoke the Energy before using.

If oneself will to pay more attention to this set of Talismans, actually its not hard to discover them, cos of the Talismans are being carved on the Five Thunder Command Block aka Wu Lei Hao Ling (
五雷號令), where Taoist Priests used during Taoist Ceremonies/Rituals.

For this set of Talismans, for those who are Ordained as Official Taoist Priests, can also write them on a piece of Yellow/Red Cloth (可書與黃或紅布之上), after then, honour the Cloth for 49 Days (祭煉四十九天) before using it as the Wrapping-cover for the Wu Lei Hao Ling. And whenever the Dried-thunder period has arrived, this Cloth can be placed on the Altar, together with the Wu Lei Hao Ling, to get the Enhancement from the Natural Thunder & Fire Elements.
