每每在為【眾善信】暨【同道】們「舉行」【道教補受生庫儀式】之時﹐皆會向他們「解釋」【補受生庫】之「作用」暨「效果」。

 

【道教補受生庫】「不可亂作」、也「不可隨意」的作﹐每次「舉行」﹐一定要有「相關」的【程序】、【敬畏心】暨【誠意】﹐才有「辦法」將其【儀式】「圓融舉行」並達到「一定的成果」。

 

除了「解釋」﹐自然也得與【眾人】分享【東嶽大帝寶訓】或稱【回生寶訓】﹐希望「參與」【補受生庫】的【善信】暨【同道】們明白「其中之道理」。

 

【天地神明】、【一切聖眾】，皆是「無偏無私」的﹐不會因為「一個人」的【厚禮】或【盛款】而「賜福護佑」其人。

 

只要一個人【心誠】、【意堅】﹐就算只是敬上「一柱香」﹐也能「受蔭三代」、「滿門福來」。

 

因此務必請大家謹記﹐慎行。

行善之人如春園之草。

行惡之人如磨刀之石。

損人利已。切宜戒之。

甲午馬年東嶽大帝千秋聖誕吉慶 Manifestation Anniversary of Emperor Lord Dong Yue 2014

28th Day of Lunar 3 Month (農曆三月廿八日) is considered as the Manifestation Anniversary of Emperor Lord Dong Yue aka Dong Yue Da Di (東嶽大帝).

Dong Yue Da Di, a High Ranking Taoist Deity that being appointed to In-charge of ALL beings Life-span and After-life Issues. Due to misconceptions and misleading Info, Dong Yue Da Di is always being depicted as a Nether World Deity, which actually is NOT Accurate.

In Year 2014, Lord Dong Yue’s Anniversary falls on 27 April, a Sunday.

So in Singapore, what can Oneself do to honour Lord Dong Yue?

For Taoists, we can just prepare the Taoist 5 Offerings/10 Offerings (道教五供/十供) to honour Lord Dong Yue as these Offerings can consider as the Highest Respect in Taoist Culture.

Besides that, Oneself can add in some Traditional Cake/Cookies (傳統糕點) stuffs such as Longevity Peach Buns (壽桃包), Longevity Noodles (壽麵), Huat Kueh (發糕), Ang Ku Kueh (紅龜粿) & Ang Ee (紅圓包).

As for the Paper Offerings, actually for us Taoists, we can save up the Paper Offerings, as long as Oneself is able to prepare 3 sticks of Good Long Incenses and a pair of 24hours Red Candles aka Dou Zhu (斗燭) for Lord Dong Yue, Oneself and the whole Family will be Blessed.

So in Singapore, where can Oneself honour Lord Dong Yue?

In here, you all will be seeing another rare Bao Gao dedicated to the Heavenly Marshal Zhu Tian Jun (東嶽太保朱天君), The Overall In-charge of Armies for Lord Emperor Dong Yue aka Eastern Mountain Tai (泰山東嶽大帝).

In some contexts, Heavenly Marshal Zhu was known as Marshal Zhu Fan Zhi (朱梵之元帥) or Zhu Yan Fu (朱彥夫元帥). Mainly his task was to maintain order of the Wanderings.

During the Ritual to honour Lord Dong Yue, the Scripture of Dong Yue Chan (東嶽寶懺) will be chanted. In this Scripture, the various Bao Gao dedicated to Empress Dong Yue, the Children & also the Assistants were being recited. It is considered quite rare to be seen in South East Asia.

In here, you all will be seeing another rare Bao Gao dedicated to Princess Dong Yue (東嶽公主碧霞元君) aka The Daughter of Lord Emperor Dong Yue aka Eastern Mountain Tai (泰山東嶽大帝).

During the Ritual to honour Lord Dong Yue, the Scripture of Dong Yue Chan (東嶽寶懺) will be chanted. In this Scripture, the various Bao Gao dedicated to Empress Dong Yue and the Children; Immortal Bi Xia were being recited. It is considered quite rare to be seen in South East Asia.

More info on Immortal Bi Xia:

Bi Xia Yuan Jun (碧霞元君) aka Jade Maiden of the Heavenly (天仙玉女) or Empress of Mt Tai Shan (泰山娘娘).

In Records, there are a few versions of her origin, here they are (碧霞元君來由):

1 - Bi Xia Yuan Jun was a Pre-Heavenly-Formed Deity (先天神祇) that assisted Yellow Emperor (黃帝) while he went for Inspection at Mt Tai Shan (東獄泰山) and later Yellow Emperor bestowed her as one of the Deity of Mt Tai Shan (泰山之神).

2 - Bi Xia Yuan Jun was the only Daughter of Dong Yu Da Di - 東獄大帝 (Emperor Lord of Mt Tai Shan)

3 - Bi Xia Yuan Jun was one of the manifestations of Dong Yu Da Di (東獄大帝之化身) to assist him in looking after the movements and issues that were associated with Mt Tai Shan.

4 - Bi Xia Yuan Jun was born in Han Dynasty (漢朝), after she grew-up, she did her self-cultivation and later was being bestowed by Mother Queen of the West (西王母) to become a Lady Immortal in the Heavenly Realm (天界女真).

Till today, in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, there's still a large number of devotees pay respect to her for blessings. The blessings are as follow:

A – Requesting for babies (求嗣)
B – Requesting for Good luck (祈福)
C – Requesting for Illness/Sicknesses to be cured (解災化厄除病)

In Singapore, it's quite rare to see her or even heard of her.

In here, you all will be seeing another rare Bao Gao dedicated to Prince Dong Yue (東嶽太子) aka The Son of Lord Emperor Dong Yue aka Eastern Mountain Tai (泰山東嶽大帝).

During the Ritual to honour Lord Dong Yue, the Scripture of Dong Yue Chan (東嶽寶懺) will be chanted. In this Scripture, the various Bao Gao dedicated to Empress Dong Yue and the Children of Lord Dong Yue were being recited. It is considered quite rare to be seen in South East Asia.

More info on Prince Bing Ling:

Bing Ling Gong aka Dong Yue San Lang (東岳三郎) or Tai Shan San Lang (泰山三郎 The Third Prince of Mt Tai Shan).

And he was believed to be the third son of Dong Yue Da Di (東嶽大帝) aka Lord Emperor of Mt Tai Shan.

In Late Tang Dynasty (唐末年間), Bing Ling Gong was being given another Official Title by the Imperial Court known as Wei Xiong Da Jiang Jun (General Wei Xiong 威雄大將軍).

While in Song Dynasty (宋朝年間), he was being given the title of Bing Ling Gong (the current commonly used Title 炳靈公).

Due to his uprightness and willingness in promoting and protecting of the Taoist Culture & Practices, he was being given the task to look after the Three Main Taoist Mountains – which are Long Hu Shan (龍虎山), Ge Zao Shan (閤皂山) & Mao Shan (茅山).

Today, in almost all the Three Mountains, you are able to see or find a Temple or Altar that is dedicated to Bing Ling Gong.

In the Taoist Scripture - Dong Yue Chan (東嶽寶懺), Bing Ling Gong and other family members of Dong Yue Da Di are being mentioned.
