Zi Wei Da Di (紫微大帝) aka Bei Ji Zi Wei Da Di (北極紫微大帝), full title known as Zhong Tian Zi Wei Bei Ji Tai Huang Da Di (中天紫微北極太皇大帝), one of the Four Celestial Emperors (四御之一) & in some Taoist Contexts, he is part of the Nine Emperors group (九皇星君之一).
According to some Taoist Scriptures, Records & Chinese Deity System, Zi Wei Da Di was one of the few Major Stars that being manifested by Dou Mu Yuan Jun - the Mother of All Star Lords (由斗姆元君所化生).
After Dou Mu manifested the Stars, these Stars floated around in the Universe and after a certain thousand years, they allocated themselves at a certain position in the Universe, for the Nine Emperors group, they allocated themselves around the Northern Heaven or so-called Hemisphere.
Due to the position that Zi Wei Da Di (Zi Wei Star 紫微星) settled down, he was being appointed as the main key-person to be in-charged of the movement of the whole Planet Earth and the Stars that surrounded the Earth, and with so-special position that he was in, he got the title of Celestial Emperor of Zhong Tian (meaning in the exact-center of the Heaven 中天).
So what is the main task of Zi Wei Da Di?
According to records, Zi Wei Da Di was being appointed as the Overall In-charge of all the movements of the Stars in the Universe and Heavenly Armies of the Northern Heaven (總領三界萬星並管理北天神將).

ReplyDeleteYup, he is Polaris and yes, Tian Peng and Tian You can consist as his subordinates in the Dou Mu Family.

Oh I see. Regarding Tian Peng and Tian You, there are 2 more of them who are marshals right each with an element they control?

ReplyDeleteIn Religions, we address that as Hua Gai (華蓋), look quite similar like umbrella, but this type of Hua Gai can only be used by High Level Deities or in the Mortal World, only Emperor & Empress own them.
