Long Shan Men Founder's Enlightenment Day (龍山門祖師羽化日)

9th Day of Lunar 8th Month is consider as an important day for all Long Shan Men disciples.

It's the day of our First Master (Founder) - Lord Long Yi's Enlightenment Day.

During the chaotic period of Tang Dynasty (ending period), Lord Long Yi founded Long Shan Men in-order to assist the refugees to find a place for home and help in calming the mind/soul/physical emotions of all frightening commoners.

After not long of setting-up of his Sect - Long Shan Men, Tang Dynasty fall and from then, Long Shan Men entered a dark-period (hidding from all enemies and attacks from the other invaders), only till Song Dynasty, Long Shan Men started to get into functioning.

Till today, Long Shan Men had passed-down the Leadership to 34 Leaders, the 35th Leader, which is me - Jave, still trying my best to promote the Culture of Taoism and the Culture of assisting people when they are in need (Spirit of Long Shan Men).

Hope that my Ancestor - Lord Zhen Yi in the Eastern Palace can blessed on us, blessed on us to complete our Tasks and keep the Culture of Taoism going.

  1. How big is Long Shan Men in Singapore? Do you have branches in other countries? When did it arrive in Singapore? How does Long Shan Men differentiates itself from other Taoist sects?

  2. Long Shan Men only left with me, some of my elders had retired, some had migrate to Eastern Palace. As for the 36 Generation, some of them are on their on now, no longer had any connection with me.

In Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and some European Countries, there still some disciples doing their cultivation, but not that popular.

In Spore, I'm consider the 3rd Generation, it came in quite early, before WW2.

Long Shan Men is still under Taoism, we belongs to Zheng Yi Sect (some skills are from Qing Wei, Lv Shan, etc).

  4. Hahahahahaha.. I got my learnings from my Master lo, but sad is that, he passed-away three years ago, and this is why, I can only start my promoting of the Sect after 3 years of mourning (his 3 years just over).

My other seniors in other parts of Asia will still equipped me with whatever I needed. :P

36th Generation... not official one, actually in the past i had 2 students, but due to their way of learning is not that right, so I let them go wherever they wanted to go lo.. everything is nature, cant be force... this is Tao ma.

  6. hahahahahaha.. i know u wil ask that.. wahahahahaha.

to be frank with you, actually i shall be the 4th generation which is the 36 generation of Long Shan Men, but due to all elders don wan to take over the "throne" and due to alot of political issues happened in the 70s, alot of the old seniors got quite disappointed and dont wished to continue anymore.

as for me, due to my master got very sick abt 5-6 yrs ago and due to worry of no one going to pass down the teachings, I'm so-called being "forced" to take over the position (from 4th generation becoming a 3rd generation -> very complicated issue, I also donno how to put them into words to explain la.. wahahahaha).

yes, all my other seniors n juniors were being informed at that time, cos we are from diff countries, so not much conflicts. and this is why, in Spore, my master advised not to recruit anymore disciples, worrying that more conflict issues will happened in the future, etc.

but to me, I cant just let the teaching end at my generation, so now, I'm doin all the information arranging and when time is right, i will pass them down to the next generation.

  17. Like what I advise to the others, in the World, there's no stupid or fool people but only lazy people.

Once a person who is sincere and willingly to put in whatever effort that he/she has, no matter how long, he/she will be someone in someday.

But if that person just wanted to create trouble for the others and trying to be funny in someway or other, then it will be impossible for him/her to be a real Taoist and definitely Long Shan Men wont be able to take him/her in.

  18. what me mean is is there any exams for the new disciples?... and if yes... are there any repeat exams - and what is the maximum repeat exams? - for the new disciples if the new disciples learn slower than others or have poorer memories fail the exams and repeat exams?...

    seriously speaking... -_-

  19. Hahahahaha... in the Spiritual World, no point giving the disciples examinations.. if they are fated to be in this society, things will appear natural to them and the learning will go on smoothly even if the disciple is a bit slower than the others.

Once a disciple is being accept into a School, forever the disciple will belongs to that School, no one can chase him out unless the Master dispel him off.....

  20. oh... just like the sword will be always by the master's side?...

yes... you are right... spiritually people will get enlightened unless one go the wrong path of interpreting things spiritually and globally the wrong ways...

  21. Hahahahaha.. but again, to be on the right path is not that easy, till today, how many out there are walking on the right path, how many of them really know who is their Ancestor?

Hahahahahaha... choosing a right school, following a right master, learning the right thing is very important... dont just follow blindly, but learning wisely.

  22. so far me know 1 important thing... the disciples learn from the master and the master learns from the disciples...

  23. Hahahahaha.. this is what happen in the normal day life too.

No one master can claim that he know alot or no one disciple can say he had learn ALL the things from his master, cos as Mortal, we need to keep up learning new things and at the same time, eliminate all the un-wanted stuffs in-order to see the true path infront of oneself.
