Manifestation Anniversary of Ling Bao Tian Zun (靈寶天尊萬壽千秋)





5th Day of Lunar 5 Month (Year 2009 falls on 28 May) is considered as the Manifestation Anniversary of Ling Bao Tian Zun (靈寶天尊), some Taoists will celebrate the Anniversary on Xia Zhi Day (夏至).

Ling Bao Tian Zun, one of the Three Pure Ones (三清道祖). In Taoism, he is considered as the 2nd Highest Ranking Deity in the Taoist Deity System.

Till now, ALL Taoists had to honour the Three Pure Ones in-order to be Officially known or accepted as an Official Taoist.

    I THOUGHT ALL TAOISTS CELEBRATE IT ON LUNAR 29 MAY THIS YEAR (夏至）。

    Not necessary. Cos Ling Bao Tian Zun does not have a Fix Anniversary.

    For most Asian, we will celebrate on Fifth Month Festival.
