Lord Wen Chang Bao Gao aka Praise Incantation, an Incantation that is rarely being used in Rituals/Ceremonies.
But devotees or Taoists are encouraged to recite the mantra on the Manifestation Anniversary aka Birthday or Feast Day of Lord Wen Chang.
Upon reciting the Bao Gao, oneself will be blessed with wisdom and knowledge in learning and academic study.

May I request the Bao gao of the 5 Wen Changs? Thanks in advance shifu.
ReplyDeleteIn the Five Wen Chang, only a few of them got Bao Gao, like Wen Chang Di Jun, Kui Xing Fu Zi, Lv Zu, the rest do not have any Bao Gao.
ReplyDeleteGuan Di doesn't have bao gao?
ReplyDeleteKui Xing Fu Zi is said to be the assistant of Wen Chang Shifu is it true?
ReplyDeleteGuan Gong do hav one Bao Gao, I hav yet to touch on his intro, do keep a look out on that.
ReplyDeleteKui Xing is not an assistant of Wen Chang, Kui Xing stands at the same level as Wen Chang or even higher than Wen Chang.
Wow. Is Kui Xing on the Nan dou group or Bei Dou Group? I mean is he a star too?
ReplyDeleteKui Xing is on the Bei Dou Group, which is the 1st star of the 7 stars.
ReplyDeleteWhich has a higher position the Nan Dou Group or the Bei Dou Group?
ReplyDeleteBei Dou Group is always the leading group, out of the Five Groups, only Bei Dou is able to perform most of the tasks due to the position of the Northern Hemisphere.
ReplyDeleteIn future, I will touch on the position of Bei Dou and why the Position is so important in Taoism and the whole Universe. :P
Thank you very much....
ReplyDeleteCan I ask for Kui Xing Bao Gao?
ReplyDeleteif kui xing is the first star of the 7 stars .. den jiu wang ye ??
ReplyDeleteI will post Kui Xing Bao Gao up soon.
ReplyDelete~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yes, Kui Xing is the 1st star of the 7 stars and also the 1st star of the 9 Emperors.
Today, the Kui Xing that we see was being humanized by folks after myth of the looks of him exist in folklore stories.
To be more accurate, Kui Xing shall not look like that.
What should be the features of Kui Xing?
ReplyDeleteKui Xing, real form of a Star, which later being humanized into human form which look like what he is now.
ReplyDeleteTo be more accurate, he shall hav the form of a young scholarly look or some said, a scholar with skills of battling.
Does that mean that the 9 emperors and the 9 stars (7+2hidden) of Bei Dou have other deities on there? Like the first star is usually Tam lang? So Tam Lang is with Kui Xing is that it?
ReplyDeleteTam Lang which is Kui Xing and Kui Xing is the name of Tam Lang :P
ReplyDeleteWow! 9 emperors??? could help to list the nine emperors name????
ReplyDeletehahaha So Tam Lang is Kui Xing all along!
ReplyDeleteHahahahaha.. The Nine Emperors, I will do a intro on that soon, do keep a look out.
ReplyDeleteTo be more accurate, Tam Lang is Kui Xing since donno when :P
hahaha Thanks thanks.
ReplyDeleteWelcome welcome.
ReplyDeleteHere's another Bao Gao Banner created dedicating to Lord Wen Chang.
ReplyDeleteIn this Banner, the 2 assistants are being added.
very beautiful... thanks shifu.
ReplyDeleteGary Dy recites this Bao gao a lot. I think several hundreds per day since last year.
Very good, do keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteHe became good-looking too compared to before. Is it a side-effect? hahaha
ReplyDeleteYes, this is one of the effects that one self put in effort to do self-cultivation.

This is not a Taoist Deity neither it belongs to any other Religions, it is just a man-made mantra for a man-made Deity. So I cant provide any Upright Detail for this, pls have my apology.
ReplyDeleteThank you anyway, Javewu.
