    I know of a book that got this pic inside, mayb next time round when u here, I can bring you to get the book.

    Nowadays, very rarely you can find such pictures, maybe on Lunar New Year period, u can find some similar paintings.

    These 2 are just additions only, the 2 standing at Zhang Tian Shi side shall be his 2 disciples Wang Chang & Zhao Sheng (王長、趙昇) and not Generals.

    This is a very special paper statue that dedicate to Zhang Tian Shi for Taoist Ritual.

    See how fine the Master can make the face for this paper statue. Superb.

    But its gonna be burned down too shifu?

    I wish there is a great paper statue maker here in the Philippines too.... I'll tryu to search a person like that here.

    Yes, usually such paper statue will be burnt after rituals.

    but some ppl will engage masters to do and then keep.

    Better to keep works of art like this. Hahaha. But if ritual needs it to be burned then must follow the rites, hahaa

    For rituals, definitely must burn, but for keeping, yes, just dont do enhancing on the statue, and the statue can be kept for decades.
