Thanksgiving for Lord Tai Sui of Year Geng Yin (酬謝庚寅年值年太歲)

Location:     All Over the World, Singapore

Its again the period for those who honoured Lord Tai Sui during the Lunar New Year Period, to perform the Thanksgiving for Lord Tai Sui of the Year.

This Year, the Thanksgiving starts on 20 Nov 2010 (a Saturday 農曆十月十五下元日) and ends on 22 Dec 2010 (a Wednesday 農曆十一月十七日冬至日).

For those who had promised to perform the Thanksgiving during Lunar New Year period, please do go back to the same Temple to show your gratitude to Lord Tai Sui.

    Hi Shifu, I have not promised to perform Thanksgiving, but I will do it. Is it ok? :-) Well, there is no temple in the city/country where I live. How to perform Thanksgiving at home (offering, baogao, etc.)?

    Hi Yang, did you honour Lord Tai Sui during the Chinese New Year period, if yes, then you need to perform the Thanksgiving, if not, actually you can go without it.

    Since on 15th day 10th lunar I did honouring Lord Shui Guan only, when is the next good day to perform Thanksgiving to Lord Tai Sui?

    Hi Shifu, I have common question: after Thanksgiving ceremony may one take down the pic or talisman of TaiSui for Geng Yin year? If not, when is the correct time to remove the TaiSui's talisman or pic? Thx in advance.

    Yes you may, if not, you will have to wait 16th day of lunar 12 month.
