Official Offerings for Tian Kuang Day (天貺日上敬蒼天供品)



Upon request, here is the list for the Official Honouring dedicated to Tian Kuang Day.

PS: Not All People needed to prepare these Offerings, depend on one’s ability & traditional-practise....

Due to Tian Kuang Day is an important Day in Taoism, for Taoists or Official Ordained Taoist Priests; we will prepare the following Offerings for the Official Honouring.

All these Offerings exclude the Taoist 20 Offerings (道教二十供不包括在以下天貺日上敬蒼天供品列表):

1 – Five types of Grains (五穀 – 為方便﹐此為現今之五穀﹕米/麥/玉米/薏米/糙米)

2 – Five Color Beans (五色豆)

3 – Four Types of Fruits with Green, Red, White & Black Color (四色水果)

4 – Four Types of Pastry made of Rice, Sesame, Peanuts & Flour (四色糕餅﹐由米/芝麻/花生/麵粉製成)

5 – Three Types of Raw Vegetables; Leek, Spring Onion & Ginger (三樣生菜:長蒜/青蔥/姜)

6 – Three Types of Sweet Candies (三樣傳統甜食)

7 – Two Types of Melons (兩種瓜類)

8 – Two Types of Seeds (兩種瓜子)

9 – One Bowl of Sweet Dumplings without Red & White Color (一大碗湯圓﹐不可有紅白色)

10 – One Bowl of Soup to rep Salty item (一大碗湯﹐代表咸食)

11 – Fifteen Cups of Chinese Tea, Rice Wine & Water each (酒/茶/清水各十五杯)

12 – Flowers (花)

Optional (可有可無):

13 – Sugar Cane (甘蔗)

Paper Offerings (香燭紙料):

1) 1 set of 3 Long Incenses (長壽香一副)

2) 1 pair of Red Candles (紅燭一對)

3) 1 or 3 set(s) of Tian Gong Jin (Big Josspaper 天公/太極金三疊)

4) 1 or 3 set(s) of Shou Jin (Normal Josspaper 大壽/三寶金三疊)
