Nan Bei Dou Xing Jun Bao Gao aka Praise/Invitation Mantras for Lord Nan Bei Dou (The Star Lords that look into the Life & Death issues of the Living Beings).
During Rituals on Paying Respect to Nan Bei Dou Xing Jun, these 2 mantras will be recited at the beginning of the rituals.
Usually for those who wanted to stay connected with these 2 Lords, they can recite the mantras on every 7th Day of the Lunar Month (The Lords arriving in the Mortal World for inspection day) or 1st/15th of the Lunar Month.
Upon knowing that the Mortals are reciting their mantras, the 2 Lords will blessed on the Mortals accordingly.

me saw 南北斗星君 beside the jade emperor picture at most taoists' birthday celebrations at the setup tents... if so, then how come me didn't see hua guang and other deities who are supposed to be beside the jade emperor?... is it because the picture will be a very very large picture if all the deities who are beside the jade emperor are drawn for the setup tent to pray?... just curious...
