i just want to ask where to get the praying objects in spore.... the one is wooden on the left and another one on the right which is something like a gong...

ReplyDeleteThe wooden is known as Wooden Fish aka Mu Yu (木魚).
The copper is known as Music Bowl aka Qing (磬).
What's the purpose of the 2 instruments on the altar then?

Yup, I'm performing the Kai Guang & Dian Yan for the statues at my student's home.

ReplyDeleteAnd of cos, certain symbols, we can only pass-down to our disciples.
This I can only reveal while someone is my student or disciple and or that person must go thru the proper registration and training.

No worry about dropping onto the floor and lose of effects.
ReplyDeleteOnce a Spiritual Objects being enhanced by using the Proper Procedure, usually the effects will last as long as it can, unless someone delibrately make things happen.

The flaming of the urn is supernatural, besides the rain and the gust of winds immediately on the first statue dotting. I havent seen a "Huat Lor" in this manner before.

ReplyDeleteHow many technique/way or sequences to Kaiguang Shenxiang? And how about deity painting scrolls? how we do Kaiguang on such scrolls? Are the way same as we dotting the statue?

There are a lot of ways to due with such Rituals/Ceremonies, the Official ones are from Zheng Yi School and Lv Shan Sect, other than that, the rest of the Skills are being created from the Upright Training that come from Zheng Yi & Lv Shan.

ReplyDeleteHahaha, yup, most of the Ceremonies I will use it. To be more accurate is that, in Taoism, we shall use the Yellow Paper - Talisman's paper, to make this, but in Spore, not easy and also costly to get that, so we have to use Gold-incense-paper to make all these.
