Dear All,
For those who are still un-aware of the Qing Ming Period for Geng Yin Year, here will be the Dates of the Period that Oneself or the Family could visit Tombs & Graves to honour the Ancestors.
Actual Qing Ming Day falls on 5 of April 2010.
Honouring Period will starts on 26 March 2010 (10 Days before) & End at 15 April 2010 (10 Days after).
For those who are visiting Tombs or Graves to honour Ancestors, please do take note of the Dates above.
Dear Master, I have a question on using the Lu Piao in sending paper offerings to the deceased. In the lu piao, beside the picture of Lord Taiyi, there are two boys holding banners which reads Amitofo and Sai Fong Kek Lok which doesn't seem to be right. Is it okay to use it? Or is it better to cut off the picture? Thanks
ReplyDeleteDear William, you can refer to this link and look for Vabien, he will be able to assist you:

I've found my answers. Thanks
ReplyDeleteI just realised that the version of Lu Piao in Malaysia has a lot of mistakes. I have pin-pointed approximately 30 wording mistakes including many missing words. Mistakes are severe, including
ReplyDelete- Invocation of the wrong gods (太乙 written as 大乙)﹐
- Silly mistakes such as (三天 written as 二天).
- Worse, above the Lu Piao is a picture of Tai Yi with two boys holding banners which reads 阿彌陀佛 and 西方極樂 which is obviously super wrong.
Please spread the word and ask fellow Taoists to counter check the Lu Piao with the correct version which I found in Google Books:

Thanks for the sharing, I think its time to do something for the Taoists in Malaysia.
