Long Shan Men ushering in the New Lunar Xin Mao Year (正一龍山門辛卯辭舊歲迎新春)

After a week’s Preparation, its time for Long Shan Men (正一龍山門) to conduct the Ceremony of Departing the Old Year (辭歲) and Ushering in the New Lunar Year (迎新) on the Lunar Eve of the New Year (大年除夕).

At 7.00Pm in the Noon of the Lunar Eve, after cleaning up of the Main Altar and Statues, Long Shan Men conducted the Departing of Old Year Ceremony.

Upon completion, it was time for Jave to have Reunion Dinner (團圓飯) with the Family and at about 10.30Pm, it was the Busy time again for Jave to do the necessary Preparation for the Offerings for the Ushering in of the New Lunar Year.

Due to this Year, Jave had to return back to my Old Temple – Tian Gong Temple (天公廟), to assist in the Ushering in of Fu Lu Shou Xi Cai Deities (福祿壽喜財神), so at around 11.45Pm, Jave’s Mum had to start to Offer the 1st Round of Incenses for the Lunar New Year (新春頭香) and when the Clock strikes 0000 Hours, Long Shan Men Officially Ushered in the Lunar New Year.

In here, with this Opportunity, Long Shan Men will like to wish ALL of you a Prosperity and Happy Lunar New.

新春萬象添新意。
百花齊放增福氣。
辛卯舊年換新禧。
事事富貴財源進。
