Here it goes, starting from the Eighth Generation of the Continuous Love…

With the sounding of the Imperial Gong & Drum, Mother Empress of the West (瑤池金母) was being led by two rows of Celestial Fairy Maid onto her Seven Phoenixes Throne (七鳳鑾) positioned in the Celestial Jade Pool Palace (瑤池宮).

With the greeting respect to Mother Empress by the different Deities & Immortals, Mother Empress started her Monthly Meeting with the various Celestial Departments. Just as the Chief Assistant of Mother Empress would to announce the starting of the Meeting, Lord Yue Lao (月下老人) was being summoned to the front.

Knowing that Mother Empress was about to ask on the punishment of Hong Ling Zi’s (紅靈子), Yue Lao volunteered himself to do the reporting to Mother Empress on the next move that he would be taking on Hong Ling Zi, after hearing the report, Mother Empress agreed on the planned move and asked Yue Lao to go on with the processing.

As Yue Lao was being advised to leave the Palace, Lord Qing Xuan (青玄老人) came to the front of the Throne of Mother Empress with a bag in his hand. Just as Lord Qing Xuan was about to speak up, Mother Empress looked at the bag, pointed at it and recited a poem out:

八世輪轉情為何。(Reincarnated for Eight Lives, but do they understand the True Love)
一心昧知愛仇恨。(Due to misconception, the True meaning of Love is still buried)
茅塞能開真假轉。(Quick wake up and understand it)
執迷難悟真難成。(Don’t be blinded by just the physical emotions)

Upon stopping her recitation, Mother Empress blew a gust of Immortal energy onto the bag and within moment, 3 shiny light-rays shoot-out from the bag and disappeared into the air, just as the other Immortals thought that it was the end of the light-rays emitting out, another gust of black ray was being released and a hatred laughter was being heard. The various Immortals were shocked and by hearing that, Mother Empress shakes her head and signal Lord Qing Xuan to leave the Palace with disappointment.

Looking at the expression of Mother Empress, Lord Qing Xuan dared not asked much, in him, only worries arise and just as he was walking out from the Palace, Lady Immortal Bi Xia (泰山碧霞元君) stopped him.

At first, Lord Qing Xuan thought that Lady Bi Xia was about to leave the Palace too but after Lady Bi Xia handed him a letter, Lord Qing Xuan was shocked to receive it. Lady Bi Xia signalled him to a side and asked him to go to Bi Xia Palace (泰山碧霞宮) for a discussion and so, Lord Qing Xuan followed.

Upon arriving at Bi Xia Palace, Lady Bi Xia asked Lord Qing Xuan to open up the letter. Just as Lord Qing Xuan was about to open the letter, a fairy dashed into the Palace, reporting to Lady Bi Xia that Lady Immortal Luo Chuan (洛川仙姬) had arrived.

With respect, Lord Qing Xuan and Lady Bi Xia arrived at the doorway to usher in Lady Luo Chuan.

Looking at the letter that Lord Qing Xuan was holding, Lady Luo Chuan nodded to Lady Bi Xia and said that, she was here to assist them to resolve this “un-attended issue”. Lady Bi Xia smiled to her and Lord Qing Xuan was blurred.

Just as Lord Qing Xuan was about to ask what had happened, Lady Bi Xia asked him to open up the letter and upon opening up, the letter had a few diagrams. One showing a Sword with Blood, another showing 2 ladies holding on to each other and the one of them was being hurt by the Sword and last, a Man’s corpse with head chopped off.

By looking at the letter, Lord Qing Xuan entered into a Visualization State and after he woke up, Lord Qing Xuan shakes his head and a drop of tear roll down from his eye.

AD 1271 (公元一二七一年), China was being invaded by the Mongolian.

AD 1279 (公元一二七九年), With the braveness of Genghis Khan, the corrupted Late Song Dynasty was being over-thrown and with the assistances of strong army, the Yuan Empire was being set-up (元朝).

One year, while Duke Qi Wo Wen Ha Er Chi (奇渥温哈爾赤) was on the way to conquer a small County in the South China, she adopted a little girl on the street. By looking at the little girl, Duke Tie was delighted to found such a cute and brilliant looking girl and in his mind, he hope that this little girl could be a playmate with his daughter – Qi Wo Wen Jin Ye (奇渥温金曄).

After 3 months of battling with the troops in the South China, Duke Qi took over the custody of Jiang Nan and within a month, the whole family was being fetched to stay in the Jiang Nan County.

Upon arrival, Duke Qi showed the whole family around the Mansion that he had conquered and during the Night Gathering, Duke Qi summoned the little girl to the table side and asked her to meet up with Jin Ye. With a glance, Jin Ye was stunned by the watery eyes of the little girl and the little girl was attracted by the look of Jin Ye. Both of them seems to know each other for ages.

Looking at the 2 girls’ expression, Duke Qi was amused and started to mock at them, telling everyone that both of them looked like a small couple whom had separated for long in the War. Jin Ye roll her eyes at her father and hold on to the little girl’s hand, dashed out from the Main Hall and ran quickly towards the Pond at the backyard of the Mansion.

With the reflection of the moonlight on the Pond, both the girls looked extremely attractive and brilliant.

The whole backyard was calm and quiet and both the girls just couldn’t bear to break the silent of the wonderful night.

Just as the little girl was about to throw a small pebble into the pond, Jin Ye looked at her and asked her what was her name.

The little girl was shy and mumbled softly her name to Jin Ye. Due to Jin Ye was too eager to know her name, she couldn’t hear probably and so, Jin Ye asked again. This time round, the little girl mumbled her name into Jin Ye’s ear – Xiao Hong Luan (蕭紅鸞).

Knowing that the little girl’s name was Hong Luan, Jin Ye started to call her Little Sister Hong Luan (紅鸞妹妹) and from then, both of them couldn’t separate with each other, even when sleeping, both of them had to hold onto each other’s hand to secure each other from running away.

Soon, a new neighbour had moved into the vacant mansion besides them. The mansion was being bestowed by the Emperor Yuan Shi Zu (元世祖忽必烈) to Yunnan Chief Advisor Meng Shi Yuan (云南总督孟士元).

In the Meng family, Officer Meng had a daughter whose name was Meng Li Jun (孟丽君), which was about the same age as Jin Ye & Hong Luan. Soon after they had met up, 3 of them became good friend and with the arrangement from the parents, the 3 of them got to study under the same Master Scholar.
Time flies, 12 years had passed and now, Jin Ye was 19 years old, Meng Li Jun was 18 years old and Hong Luan was 17 years old. Three of them could consider as the Three Beauties of Jiang Nan County.

In the Imperial Court, due to Prime Minister Liu Jie (劉捷) was jealous on the biasness of the Emperor towards Huang Fu Jing (皇甫敬) & Meng Shi Yuan, Liu Jie had planned an evil plot on Huang Fu Jing to be put into the Jail. Upon knowing that Huang Fu Jing was being caught, Meng Li Jun’s Fiancée Huang Fu Shao Hua (皇甫少華) had to flee off to seek assistance from his master and upon hearing the news, Meng Li Jun & her maid – Rong Lan (榮蘭), escape off from Home to follow Huang Fu Shao Hua to assist him in fighting back with Liu Jie.

On the night of escaping away from home, Meng Li Jun had arranged to meet up with Jin Ye & Hong Luan, asking them to take care and hope that they could find a right husband to marry-to. Jin Ye & Hong Luan got upset seeing that Meng Li Jun had willingly to suffer herself to assist her Fiancée.

By then, the Night Hour Shift-man (更夫) sound the Midnight Gong (三更鼓), Meng Li Jun had to depart with them. With the shadow that being cast by the moonlight, Meng Li Jun & Rong Lan got on their tough journey to a No-destination trip.

After returning to the room, Hong Luan started to get worried for Meng Li Jun and Jin Ye couldn’t believed that such thing had happened. Just by silently requesting blessing for them, Jin Ye looked into the starry sky, communicating with any passer-by Deities.

3 months passed, no news on Meng Li Jun, Jin Ye & Hong Luan were worried.

One day after returning from Feng Ling Temple (丰陵寺), Jin Ye & Hong Luan were being stopped by a group of hooligans.

Hong Luan stared hard at the leader of the hooligans and started to shout at them, but due to the hooligans got a strong backing – Liu Kui Bi (劉奎壁) or Liu Xian (劉冼), the son of Liu Jie, they were not worried of people pin-pointing at them and so, they didn’t let Jin Ye & Hong Luan go.

Just as the leader of the hooligans was about to hug Hong Luan, a scholar dashed out from an Inn to stop him.

Even though the scholar knew that he couldn’t fight against the hooligans, but he insist of assisting the girls. Just as the leader was about to punch the scholar, Liu Kui Bi arrived and upon seeing the scholar, Liu Kui Bi stopped the hooligans’ leader and apologise to the scholar.

Knowing that Liu Kui Bi was the son of the nasty Prime Minister, the scholar accepted the apology of Liu Kui Bi and escorted the 2 girls back home.

After the scholar left the spot, Liu Kui Bi started to mumble to himself, saying that one day, this scholar would get the necessary punishment from him.

Upon arriving home, Jin Ye & Hong Luan thank the scholar sincerely and from the eyes of Jin Ye, Hong Luan could sense that Jin Ye somehow fall for this scholar. Just as the scholar was about to leave, Duke Qi arrived home from the Imperial Court.

At a glance, Duke Qi was shocked to see the Cousin of the Empress (伯岳吾皇后之堂弟) in his house and almost immediately, Duke Qi pay his respect to the scholar. Knowing that the scholar was a Royal Relative, the 2 girls were shocked.

With the introduction by Duke Qi, the 2 girls finally known who was him and they ushered the scholar into the house for tea.

While Duke Qi was trying his best to understand the whole situation of why Lord Bo Yue Wu Han Qing (伯岳吾罕清皇爵) landed-up at his mansion, Duke Qi couldn’t stop noticing at his daughter staring at Lord Bo with a strange look.

With the explanation that Lord Bo had given to Duke Qi, finally he understood and with promise, Duke Qi would report this issue to the Emperor when the time was right.

Just before Lord Bo left the mansion, Duke Qi secretly asked Lord Bo whether he had already match-make with any girls. By looking at Duke Qi and stared back at Jin Ye & Hong Luan, Lord Bo shakes his head and left the mansion.

Duke Qi happily looked back at the 2 girls and immediately both of them dashed off from the spot. Duke Qi laughed loudly to himself and walked back to the Main Hall.

AD 1296 (公元一二九六年), on the 5th Day of Lunar 6 Month (農曆六月初五日), Duke Qi reported the nasty behaviour of Liu Jie & Liu Kui Bi to Emperor Cheng Zong. Due to Liu Jie was the Prime Minister of the Country, Emperor Cheng Zong was in a difficult position to make any decision and so, Emperor Cheng Zong delayed the investigation on the Liu Jie and his son.

AD 1296 (公元一二九六年), on the 15th Day of Lunar 8 Month (農曆八月十五日), Liu Jie married her daughter to Emperor Cheng Zong as Concubine and from then, Emperor Cheng Zong cancelled all investigation on the Liu Family and promoted Liu Kui Bi as an Officer in assisting Liu Jie in looking after the Capital Army Troops.

Knowing that Emperor Cheng Zong wouldn’t be punishing Liu Jie and his son, Duke Qi was very upset and just as he was about to go complaint to Emperor Cheng Zong’s Mother, Lord Bo had sent someone to his mansion to seek approval on the marriage for him and Jin Ye.

Upon receiving the request, Duke Qi had forgotten about the complaining and immediately summoned Jin Ye & Hong Luan out.

Looking at the Marriage Red-letter (求婚書帖), Jin Ye started to get embarrassed and Hong Luan was delighted.

Just as Duke Qi was about to say something to Jin Ye, Jin Ye opened her mouth to request one thing from her father.

Duke Qi was surprise on what thing that Jin Ye would be going to request, just as Duke Qi was pondering on it, Jin Ye requested Hong Luan must be married to Lord Bo too.

Duke Qi was shocked and Hong Luan kept quiet.

By holding onto Hong Luan’s hands, Jin Ye explained to her father that, she had already treated Hong Luan as her own Sister and no one can separate them, even disaster or death. Upon hearing that, Hong Luan was moved by the words by at the same time, Hong Luan felt something was not very right.

With the sincerity and firmness that Jin Ye had, Duke Qi agreed and so, he also gave Hong Luan an Official Name of Qi Wo Wen Hong Luan (奇渥温紅鸞), from then, Hong Luan would be the foster daughter of Duke Qi.

Soon, this great news was being spread around the whole Jiang Nan County and everyone started to send their greetings to Duke Qi.

At the other hand, Liu Jie was very frustrated with how well-accepted of Duke Qi by the commoners and Liu Kui Bi was jealous with Lord Bo on getting married with 2 Beauties at one time.

Just 3 days before the marriage of Lord Bo, Liu Jie & Liu Kui Bi arrived at the Internal Palace (後宮) to look for Concubine Liu (劉皇妃) to discuss on the issue of getting rid of Duke Qi & Lord Bo before they combined their authorities to go against them.

With a long night of discussion, finally they came out with an evil plot.

AD 1296 (公元一二九六年), on the 8th Day of Lunar 9 Month (農曆九月初八日), with a grand procession, Lord Bo arrived at Qi Mansion to marry away the 2 Brides off.

At night, on the Wedding Dinner, Liu Jie & Liu Kui Bi arrived at Lord Bo’s Mansion with the Edict of the Emperor and a Vase of Imperial Wine.

Upon receiving the Edict from the Liu Jie, Lord Bo opened up the Wine to toast with all the Guests and just as immediately after Lord Bo drank the Wine, he vomited blood and within seconds, Lord Bo collapsed onto the ground and pass-on.

With commotion, the whole Mansion of Lord Bo was being surrounded by the Imperial Army Troops. With an order by Liu Kui Bi, all the guests in the Mansion were being executed.

Just as immediately, Hong Luan dashed into the room of Jin Ye and brought her to the dog hole at the back of the false hill to escape off (this hole was being dug by Meng Li Jun when they were young).

As soon as they escaped from the dog hole, they saw the whole mansion was on fire and knowing that their parent was died by then, Jin Ye & Hong Luan were extremely sad and angry. Seeing that some black shadows were running towards them, Jin Ye & Hong Luan tried their very best to run off.

Exhausted.
Angry.
Sad.
Disappointed.

Jin Ye & Hong Luan escaped to a rundown temple at the bottom of a Hill. Walking into the temple, they saw that the main Deity was Lord Yue Lao.

Pointing at the broken statue, Jin Ye shouted sadly at Lord Yue Lao for playing a trick on her and make Hong Luan suffered.

Pointing at the Heaven, scolding the Heaven for not being fair to them that the family was being destroyed by an evil person.

Hong Luan was upset too, but due to that she had to protect Jin Ye, Hong Luan had to struggle herself to calm Jin Ye down.

While Hong Luan sat Jin Ye down on the patch of dried grasses, she heard someone outside the temple. Immediately, Hong Luan hid Jin Ye at the bottom of the Altar and rubbed the black soil and dust onto Jin Ye’s face. After then, Hong Luan went around the whole temple to look for some old clothing and she was managed to find a set of farmer’s broken shirt and pants. Without hesitation, Hong Luan asked Jin Ye to change into the old shirt and for her, Hong Luan changed into Jin Ye’s clothing.

At first, Jin Ye felt weird of why Hong Luan changed into her clothing but due to she was too tired, after changing into the farmer’s clothing, Jin Ye fell asleep under the Altar.

Looking at Jin Ye fallen asleep, Hong Luan’s tears roll off her eyes and she mumbled softly to the sleeping Jin Ye and wrote a letter for her -

Dear Sister Jin Ye,

Knowing that you had suffered a lot from losing of parent and husband, I know that if this don’t put to a stop, this life time you and me won’t be able to enjoy any more good life.

I appreciate your love and Duke Qi’s care. It’s time for me to repay back to you all.

Changing into your clothing is to take cover for you to escape after you wake up.

No need to look for me, just go on your way to find a new life.

Only when you can live with a good health, my sacrificed will worth it.

All the best to you my dear sister, my love for you will never change.

When Heaven got the feeling for Love and when the Earth is hearing our suffering, our Love will rise again.

Last word by Hong Luan.

Upon finishing the letter, Hong Luan ran out of the temple and just so coincidence, Liu Kui Bi chased his way to the entrance of the temple.

By seeing Liu Kui Bi at the entrance, Hong Luan couldn’t stop herself from becoming insane and with a dash, Hong Luan ran to the front of Liu Kui Bi and just as she was about to poke the Candle-stand onto Liu Kui Bi, an assistant of Liu Kui Bi hit hard onto the head of Hong Luan. Red blood splashed out and with an Anger stare at Liu Kui Bi, Hong Luan collapsed onto the ground and pass-on with eyes opening wide.

Looking at Hong Luan, Liu Kui Bi thought that she was Jin Ye, so after Hong Luan collapsed onto the ground, Liu Kui Bi signalled to his assistants to retreat and the movement for today ended smoothly.

After the group of nasty people left, Jin Ye woke up, seeing only a letter on the floor and with no sight of Hong Luan, Jin Ye ran out of the temple, with an extreme shock, Jin Ye cried out loud and crawl all the way to where Hong Luan was lying.

Recalling all the scenes that they had gone thru.
Recalling the Joyous and Sadness that they had shared.
Laughter, Sobbing & Arguments.

Now, everything had changed.
Forever no more Hong Luan.

Opening up the letter and read. Jin Ye requesting hard on the last sentence to come true soon - When Heaven got the feeling for Love and when the Earth is hearing our suffering, our Love will rise again.

Just as Jin Ye was crying sadly, a big fat black guy approached her and carried her away from the temple. From then, no one knew where Jin Ye had gone too.

Three years later, Meng Li Jun & Huang Fu Shao Hua returned back to Jiang Nan to fight against Liu Jie. In the same year, Liu Jie & Liu Kui Bi were being beheaded and Concubine Liu was being sentenced to death by hanging herself.
