Sheng Zhong Tan Lunar 1st Month Celebration 2013 癸巳蛇年聖忠壇農曆正月千秋慶典

On 08 March, a Friday, Old Master Chua of Sheng Zhong Tan (聖忠壇) had lead his disciples & commitment members in setting up the Tentage & Allocating the Spiritual Armies to the various Guard-posts around the Celebration Ground (安營護壇) and after settling the Armies issues, Grandmaster Chua Kee Hai – the 80+ years old Medium of Lord Guan Yu was in trance to enhance the whole Celebration Premises.

With the completion of the Enhancement by Lord Guan Yu, the day’s Event ended smoothly.

On 09 March, a Saturday, at 5.00Am, Jave arrived at the Celebration Premises with Royce, to get ready for the whole day’s Ritual and at 5.30Am, the Cleansing Ceremony began (清壇結界), followed by Ushering in the High Authorities at 6.00Am (恭迎三界).

Its been a long time that Jave have conducted the Ushering of the High Authorities at the most Traditional & Official Timing – 6.00Am, which now a lot of people don’t do that anymore.

With the completion of the Ushering in of the High Authorities, we had a short break to wait for Vabien’s arrival and then, we start the Chanting of Qing Jing Jing (清靜妙經) at 7.30Am followed by the 1st Round of Respect Honouring of Offering the Five Offerings at 8.30Am (早朝獻供).

At 10.00Am, we started to Honour Lord San Guan (朝禮三官) and followed by the various Directional Dipper Lords (朝禮斗尊) by chanting the various respective Taoist Scriptures.

At 2.00Pm, after Lunch break, we started to conduct the Thanksgiving to Heavenly Lord Jade Emperor by presenting the various Official Offerings. Upon completion of the Thanksgiving Ceremony, it was time to Send-off the High Authorities (恭送三界) and so, after waiting for the Mediums to get in trance to join in the Sending Off, Jave, Royce & Vabien had conducted the Sending Off Ceremony.

Successfully at 3.00Pm, the Sending Off took place and immediately after the Sending Off, heavy rain pour took place, the elderly were happy as this shows a Good Omen to them.

At 4.00Pm, it was Royce's turn to conduct the Official Rewarding of Spiritual Armies (犒賞三軍). Firstly, Royce had issued the various Talismans to gather & summon the Spiritual Armies, then followed by directing them into the Celebration Premises & last, distributing of the Rewarding Offerings.
By 6.30Pm, it was time to Usher in the various Star Dipper Lords (請真迎斗) before the Li Dou Ritual (禮斗科儀) began. Just after ushering in the Star Lords, the Lighting of the Blessing Dipper Lamps (敬點斗燈) was conducted and all people that participate in the Celebration had to be around to witness the Lighting Ceremony. Everyone was eager & happy awaiting for their chance to be called to “make” a wish in front of the Lamp Altar.

At 7.00Pm, the Li Dou Ritual started and followed by the Crossing of Seven Star Bridge (過七星橋).

The Main Highlight & Climax of the Day was the Crossing of the Seven Star Bridge. This is the part that everyone really enjoy and able to relax themselves after a long, strict & official Day. Even old grannies & grandpas never failed to join us in the crossing of the bridge.

Its indeed a very great experience and enjoying day that we all had.

At 9.00Pm, the Day’s Event ended smoothly and we headed home for rest.

On 10 March, a Sunday, at 1.00Pm, the distribution of necessities items for 300 needy homes was carried out with the help of all Sheng Zhong Tan members.

At 3.00Pm, the Sending off of Guest Deities (恭送眾神) was conducted followed by Offering to the Spiritual Armies (犒賞三軍).

By 5.00Pm, the whole Celebration for Lunar 1st Month ended completely & smoothly.

In here, Jave & Long Shan Men will like to take this opportunity to thank the Elders of Sheng Zhong Tan, which also the Elders of Singapore Shui Xian Gong (新加坡水顯宮), whom had given me a chance to conduct this wonderful Ritual at their Taoist Premises.

Its had been a while that I’ve catch up with the Elders after Shui Xian Gong had demolished a year ago.

Special Thanks to Vabien & Royce for sharing with us the Photos.
