凡食堆如山。

能供多少﹖

給你﹐給我﹐給他﹖

法食一餐盤。

普施不少。

供魂﹐供幽﹐供靈。

這是我本人很喜歡的一部道教經文。

 《元始天尊說功德法食往生經》

 　

爾時。

元始天尊與諸天聖眾。天仙地仙三界官屬。五嶽地司。五帝水府。北都羅酆。善惡二童子。遊東方玉寶樓閣世界。空青樹下碧蓮華上。說十種因緣。一千業報。令諸法會生解脫心。

爾時。

天尊現大光明。滿彼世界。見諸地獄餓鬼畜生。頭面焦爛。身體火然。刀輪劍鋒。苦毒徹天。痛傷骨髓。猛火焰天。渴飲鎔銅。號叫冤債。無有休息。

是時。

眾中普皆觀見。爾時有一真人名曰大慈大慧。悲泣傷歎。從座而起。稽首斂容禮拜。上告

天尊。伏願聖慈特垂聽覽。臣與法會諸眾及飛仙神仙等。愍恤下界眾生。伏願

天尊平等大慈如何救度。

爾時。

天尊默默良久。方啟慈顏。舉五明扇。發大弘音。乃答真人曰。善哉善哉。汝能廣為眾生啟慈念。今問此事。令吾應見汝等一會。當須諦聽。

天尊言。三塗九府。一百二十酆都地獄。有諸眾生不修真道。死入長夜。魂為下鬼。沉淪惡趣。愍歎而作頌曰。

泠泠甘露滋。法味難思議。騫香流七真。冥冥何生疑。

受此法食者。生天登紫微。福田高巍巍。供施令清浄。

一切有為事。普皆成代命。拔汝三塗苦。施汝九玄慶。

臨當受食時。諸天皆讚詠。寒庭多悲苦。迴心禮元皇。

女青靈寶符。中山真帝書。一念昇太清。再念歸太無。

功歸九幽下。旋旋生紫虛。

天尊曰。施食與亡者。不可思議。是諸亡魂。是男是女。當比飽滿。各得離苦解脫受生。清涼蓮華座永得脫離。

是時

天尊重宣偈曰。

功德不思議。行者膺福報。施與法食餐。永生安樂道。

爾時

天尊說是偈已。應諸所見地獄。尋聲消散。是諸幽魂隨願往生。大慈大慧真人及諸法會等眾。咸皆歡喜踊躍。五體投地。作禮而退。信受奉行。

Yuan Shi Tian Zun explains on the Scripture of Releasing of Enhanced Spiritual Offerings to the Pass-on for Salvaging of the Sufferings (元始天尊說功德法食往生經)

According to Taoist Canon Record, this Scripture was being written in Tang/Song Dynasty, the Author was unknown. This Scripture was being Written to explain on how Yuan Shi Tian Zun explains to Immortal Da Hui on the Releasing of Enhanced Offerings for the Suffering Souls in the Suffering Realm, in order to Salvage them and lead them to the Realm of Eternal Joyous.

This Taoist Scripture is Widely being used in Salvation Rituals/Ceremonies for the Pass-on & Wandering Souls during 7th Month Celebration.

Brief Explanation on the Scripture:

This is a Taoist Scripture that being explained by Yuan Shi Tian (元始天尊

) to Da Hui Zhen Ren (大慧真人) aka Immortal of Salvation during one of the Celestial Gatherings in Dong Fang Yu Bao Lou Ge Paradise (東方玉寶樓閣世界).

Yuan Shi Tian Zun explains that, in the Suffering Realms in the Feng Du City, many Souls are not able to salvage due to their Debts & Sins accumulated during the Living Period of them. And due to the Repaying of their Debts & Sins, such Souls are not able to be giving the necessary "Physical Food/Items" for replenishing of their Energies and so, whenever the Souls felt Hunger, they have to swallow the Burning Hot Lava that are melted from the Cliffs & Earth. After consuming of such Lava, the Souls get more Sufferings and some of them even have to face another form of "Death" again in the Suffering Realms.

And so, Yuan Shi Tian Zun advised Da Hui Zhen Ren to encourage the Living Mortals to conduct the necessary Salvation Rituals for the Suffering Souls. During the Rituals, Food/Items that are being Spiritually Enhanced will be released out to such Suffering Souls and hoping after the consuming of such Enhanced Food/Items, the Suffering Souls' Debts & Sins will be lessen and One final day, being lead to the Eastern Palace for Eternal Joyous blessing.(besides the Offering of Physical Food/Items for Enhancing, actually in here, Yuan Shi Tian Zun also refers to the Chanting of Scriptures & Mantras)

After the explanation, Yuan Shi Tian Zun demostrated the Method of releasing of such Enhanced Food/Items/Chanting and within seconds, the Immortals, Deities & Celestial Beings saw that most of the Suffering Souls are being Salvaged and with Compassionate, ALL of them Thank Yuan Shi Tian Zun sincerely & faithfully.

And so, Da Hui Zhen Ren accepted the Advises and Sincerely & Compassionately convey the message to All Mortals in the Mortal World.
