While conducting the Honouring for Dou Mu Yuan Jun & Bei Dou Xing Jun, Taoists & Chinese will also Celebrate Taoist Day due to the Immortal-hood Anniversary of Zhang Tian Shi aka Heavenly Master Zhang Dao Ling & Xuan Tian Shang Di.
According to Taoist Records, on 9th Day of Lunar 9 Month, Zhang Tian Shi & Xuan Tian Shang Di both ascended to the Celestial Palace after jumping off the Cliff.
As a Taoist, this is a Day to show our Gratitude & Respect to these 2 Grand Celestial Masters for passing down the Teaching of Taoism.
