Dear All,
Recently, another "uncommentable topic" has been brought up again for discussion and I'm sure, now alot of Mediums out in the Society is starting to "rub their hand knuckles" again, preparing to stand guard on being put into black-listed list or etc.
In Taoism, in-order not to Downgrade the Value of such Spiritual Registration, ALL Zheng Yi Sect (正一道宗) Priests or Spiritual Masters/Teachers & Taoists are being registered accordingly to the Ancient Records known as Tian Tan Yu Ge (天壇玉格). Without refering to this Record, NO Registration is allowed to be done. And if a Trained or Official Taoist Master shall know that, in Tian Tan Yu Ge, there are a few Statements made on Mediumship and so, without proper Training or at least 3 years of cultivation, NO ONE is allowed to be registered.
Another Issue is that, for Mediumship Registration, the Registrating Mediums must go thru the Ancient Records of Jing Ming Sect (淨明道宗), known as Lv Shan Ji Sheng Yu Lu (閭山乩生玉錄), quite similar to Tian Tan Yu Ge used in Zheng Yi Sect, if not, NO matter where the Mediums are registered is still considered as USELESS.
So for those who came out with the idea of Regulating Mediums, please do put in effort in getting the knowledge and spend more time on these 2 Records. Besides that, the Registration Sector must prepare the 24 Rules (廿四戒), 36 Regulations (卅六章) & 48 Mantras/Incanations (四十八咒) for the Mediums. Without ALL these, Mediums wont be able to understand how a Medium shall Function or "Operate".
All these are the basic, so those who wanted to register but dont know whether the Registration is Valid or Not, please ask the Registration Officers for the details on the above Records & Terms.

ReplyDeletenow the problem comes.. if this registration system works, does it only apply to ki-tong? or does it also apply to all 营内弟子？i thought register on temple basis would be a more straight forward strategy..
ReplyDeleteWell registration is one of the component, the implication and application is also another section. How about any class coming up to allow people gone through the course however, not every one will be a toaist or medium, helper, assistant, members, temple management etc. Like myself also keen to know and learn about it. How the scope come into this complicated registrate in which level. Thks
ReplyDeleteYup, this is one of the very important issue. Cos those who suggested such Registration didnt even think of alot of issues that are associated with it. Mediums are just Mediums, those who are really putting in Effort to run a Sintua or to make a Sintua runs are the Spiritual Assistant known as Zhuo Tou (桌頭). Ying Nei Di Zi, Ying Wai Hu Fa, Wu Ying Tong Ling, etc, all are needed to go thru Training & Understanding of the Culture & Skills.
ReplyDeleteYup, Training & Understanding are important. We dont encourage people just to registed, get the cert and then pad the backside and go. All these will create more issues in the future.

ReplyDeleteWhen you speak about mediums you mean the transmediums,right?
In the West or Europe,mediums does not only mean the transmediums it can also be other kind of mediums.
In Taoism, Mediums are more than just Mediums, even the European's Mediumships are part of Chinese Mediumship. If you will to study indepth, you will see the Lineage.

ReplyDeleteMaster Jave, you mentioned that if the Mediums are not registered in either of the records, it is still useless. What do you mean? How does the registration help?
ReplyDeleteThese type of registration are not only physically registed but carried out in Spiritual wise. And so, from there, each Medium will be guided accordingly in Taoist Skills & Culture.

ReplyDeleteAfter 43rd, mostly all Rules & Regulation fixed. You can check with Senior Priests all around the World, you will be able to understand more.
