On the 8th Day of Lunar 9 Month, Long Shan Men (龍山門) conducted a Simple Honouring Ceremony dedicating to Dou Mu Yuan Jun (斗姆元君), Nan Bei Dou Xing Jun (南北斗星君) & Nine Emperors (九皇星君) at Wan Shou Shan Tian Gong Miao (萬壽山天公廟 located at Telok Blangah Height besides Block 45).
This Year, even though Long Shan Men did not take in new students, but 2 new Disciples of 35th & 36th Generation joined in the Honouring.
At around 11.00Am, I arrived at the Temple to do the necessary preparation for the Honouring, after Vabien arrived, we started the Honouring by paying our respect to Jade Emperor (玉皇大天尊) first and then Dou Mu Yuan Jun (斗姆元君) and other Deities, during the paying respect to these Deities.
After All the related Deities were being called upon, a short reporting was being made and soon after the report was made, Dou Mu Yuan Jun and other Deities were being informed on the Newly Addition Members of Long Shan Men and also, the Promotion Issues of the Current Existing 36th Generation Disciples (refer to Picture 32 - 35). Special Petitions & Holders were being prepared by Vabien (refer to pic 36).
After 2 rounds of reporting, the 2 New Members of Long Shan Men arrived at the Temple and so, a Final round of Reporting & Honouring was made before the Sending Off of the Paper Offerings was done.
After then, the group of 4 of us went to do the Sending-off of the paper-offerings, after the huge quantity of paper-offerings being set-up in the burning area, a Spiritual Fire was being lighted. During the burning, both of us were there to observe the burning and yes, indeed the things that I expected happened, which meant that, the Spiritual Reporting was being done successfully.
Soon the fire started to tame-down and so, we left the Temple very soon after another round of chit-chatting and paying respect.
