In here, you all will be watching a Video Clip on the Singing Recitation of the Scripture of San Guan Bao Hao Jing aka Scripture of the Official Titles of the Three Heavenly Lords of the Three Realms (三元三官大帝). In Taoism, usually this Scripture is chant together with San Guan Miao Jing (三官妙經) aka San Guan Gan Ying Miao Jing (三官感應妙經) or Tai Shang San Yuan Ci Fu She Zui Jie E Xiao Zai Yan Sheng Bao Ming Miao Jing (太上三元賜福赦罪解厄消災延生保命妙經).

In Taoism, San Guan Miao Jing is a Basic Scripture that ALL Taoists must Understand & Practise. Besides that, on the 1st Day or 15th Day of the Lunar Month, this Scripture Must be chanted in-order to request for Blessing from San Guan Da Di for the World.

For those who always felt that Oneself easily feel tense or things are not getting smooth, Oneself can recite this Scripture in the Morning in front of an Altar or while Oneself visit Temples. By doing the Recitation, it does Help.

  1. Thats Huo Guan, in-charge of the movement of Natural Fire and Heat. Some people treat him as Huo De Xing Jun.

  2. Oh, I see. Why is he being included in this Scripture?

What about 360 Gan Ying Tian Zun and 120 Kao Xiao Cao Guan?

  3. Yes, he is included becos of the task that he hold on - assisting the other 3 Lords.

Those are the assistants of San Guan.

  4. good day master jave just wanna ask coz my friend has altar, he invited 関公,福德正神,文財神 which should be at the middle? is it correct if he invited guang gong to be at the middle? is he of higher rank than cai shen? coz his guan gong is seated at the middle, the cai shen at left and tu di gong at right

  5. For this case. Cai Shen shall sit on the Middle, follow by Fu De and last is Guan Gong. In the future, try to avoid honouring Guan Gong. Possible, change to Fa Zhu Gong or Xuan Tian Shang Di.

  6. i see, should fu de be on the left side or right? coz usually in the philippines the local chinese always honor guan gong, you could see all business establishment honoring him, and the spiritual shop would say that the above three deities are for business, fazhugong and xuan tian shang di are not so popular here, can only see them in temples, hardly on business premise, thanks for the correction, your a big help

  7. Guan Gong can never be a Deity for giving blessing for business, this is one very wrong mistake that people have made for the past 100 yrs. But due to the mistake has been so deeply made, nothing can change the thought of people. This is one very bad and sad point of blindly following result.

If you will to face the altar, Fu De will be on your Right.

  8. Might be because most of the Chinese in the Philippines has roots in Fujian Province particularly in Quan Zhou/ ChuanChiu. If you would walk in Quanzhou City almost 98% of the shops are honoring Guan Gong and Fu De Zheng Shen. Only KFC and other fast foods don't have. But some fast foods even have both of them...

Quan Zhou City has the famous centuries if not millennium-old Guan Gong Temple. That particular temple also honors San Guan Da Di and I make it a point to visit that place once a year. In my whole life, that is the only temple I encounter having San Guan Da Di... too sad so few people now have chance to honor San Guan Da Di.

Thanks Master Jave for the info. Then in what context or situation should we honor Guan Gong? I think it is more okay for the Family Associations to have Guan Gong as a deity for camaraderie and mutual respect. Am I right Shifu?

  9. i see, so fu de is on the dragon side while guangong is on the tiger side. in that case guangong is deity of what function? if im not mistaken guangong is a dharma protector along side with wei tuo of buddhism right? his other name is 伽藍菩薩?

  11. Yes, Fu De on Dragon side.
Guan Gong does not have the authority to do any blessing, he is just being remembered due to his credits while fighting against the odds in the three kingdom period.
Buddhism does not have Guan Gong, Qia Lan is another Protector.

  12. oh thanks for that info, coz i have heard from followers here that guangong and jialan is the same, as i look upon their image they do look the same he he, shi fu you should come up with a book, coz a lot of practices here in the philippines are incorrect, thanks a lot.

  13. Yup, alot of ppl are mistaken by the image. Anyway, in Buddhism, Qie Lan does not look like Guan Gong, this is one thing for sure.

Planning to do a book soon, will keep u all update.
