  11. Hi Jave

  12. Once you are in the temple and honour He He, do try to go there often. The He He might be able to assist you in solving ur issues.

  13. But i also pray a lot to the dieties in other temples.. does it mean they won't exist/are not existing me? :(

    ReplyDelete
  14. Haha, dont worry, they are there for you always.

  15. i typed exist instead of assist... what a freudian slip.. hahaha

but what i mean is.. i go to Tiang Gong Miao too.. but isn't there an internal master there as well?

Is it bad if i go to so many different temples?

I am gg to taipei this week.. am even thinking of praying at the temples in Taipei too.. is that ok? \\

I have always thought it's the same deity everywhere.. isn't that true?

  16. Of cos you can visit any temples that you are comfort with, do not worry too much on that.
As for the energies, different temple will have different form, so we cant say that they are all the same.

  17. so it doesn't mean that if i go to Temple A, then Temple B

The deity in Temple A will misunderstand that i go to a different temple instead of going to A all the time as a lack of faith, and not help me>?

Sorry if my questions sound stupid

i go just all over the place.. cos i feel a need to keep praying wherever i go :)

Even when i go overseas, i will check out the local temple.. but i make sure i never say stuff like I will come back and give thanks.. cos i never know if i can go back

If i dun make promises, the deities will still help me right?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Haha, of cos they wont get misunderstanding or you will offend them. As long as you are sincere in honouring them, they will be there to bless you.

Need not make any form of promises, as long as you can take care of yourself, treasure more on yourself and love the people ard you, up there will blessed you de. so no need to worry too much.

Fate is like that, when it is destinated to be there, nothing can stop it, we can only accept it.

    Hope you understand :P

  19. My friend in Taipei told me not to go to those small temples which not many people go to

She said sometimes they have dodgy energy..

I wasn't aware of this possibility until she mentioned it

I was initially thinking of visiting this small temple on the outskirts of Taipei but she said it's not a very orthodox temple.. and sometimes with this type of temples, even if I get my wish granted, i might have to give something else..

She said we should always go to big temples where a lot of people go to, cos the energy is cleaner and better..

    Is that true?

Btw, do you happen to know of any temples with He He in taipei city centre?

    Thanks!

  20. Yup, too shabby temple or dark temple, we try to avoid, cos in Taiwan, the people there also have some taboos in goin into such temples.

In Taiwan, alot of Temples have He He, you can try out Long Shan Si.

  21. hmm.. thanks jave..

i called them to ask.. they dun have he He le..

    ReplyDelete
  22. Haha, welcomed :P

Hmm, then you have to visit other temples le.

    ReplyDelete
  23. But i have checked on the internet.. from my limited understanding of traditional chinese, it seems like there isn't any in the city centre itself..

Can i trouble you? Do you have any taiwanese contacts/peers you can check with?

If it's too much trouble, dun worry abt it

    thanks a lot

  24. Ok, I will try to get back to you soon.

  25. If u are in taiwan , remember to visit the temple that has one xuan tian shang di. The temple is under the huge statue of shang di gong. Is a nice temple.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Haha, this is also part of query..one of friend often say this..." if u go many temples, at the end of the day who should we thanks and return at end of the year?"...He dun understand ..that sometime when u pass by a familar temple, you just have the urge to pay respect...just like some one is calling u to go in pray.. But there are also times, i dun feel any thing and just walk past without entering.

  27. extremelysad, what you worry is only happened to churches. :-) If you go to church A and then to church B, all follower/priest of church A will accuse you as unloyal etc.
Your worry can never be applied to temples, because temples are part of chinese culture and chinese culture teaches a networking among human (or even among deities system). And the chinese deities surely understand that and will never misunderstand. :-)

    my 2 cents,
    Yang
