15th Day of Lunar 5 Month is considered as the Manifestation Anniversary of Lord Long Yi aka Long Yi Zhen Jun (龍一真君).
Lord Long Yi, the founder of Long Shan Men. Born in Late Tang Dynasty. During the end period of Tang Dynasty, China was in a Chaotic Situation where all the invaders wanted to overthrown the Tang Emperor.
At this time, there was a Rebellious person known as Huang Chao who led a group of strong army into the Capital of Tang Empire to overthrown the Emperor and at this moment, Lord Long Yi was being sent down to the Mortal World to get his reborn into a Tan Family.
After growing up, Lord Long Yi started to perform his cultivation and salvation for the sufferings.

ReplyDeletemay I on that day honour Lord Long Yi by only reciting his Bao Gao / offering incense? I don't have statue nor poster of Him.
