Dear All Long Shan Men Classmates, Disciples & Frens,
On this coming 22 Mar 2008 (Saturday), which is 15th Day of Lunar 2 Month, the Manifestation Anniversary of Tai Shang Lao Jun aka Lao Zi, the Ancestor Patron of Taoism, I will be at Tian Gong Miao located at Telok Blangah Road (next to Blk 45) to pay my respect to Lao Zi.
I will encourage All Disciples & Taoists to come and pay respect together with me.
As for offerings, pls do prepare the basic items:
1 5 Oranges
2 3 sets of Tian Gong Jin
3 3 sets of Shou Jin
4 3 sticks of Big Incenses
Any other items can be bought at the Temple.
Timing will be 1100 Am.
For those who are coming, pls do let me know as soon as possible.
For Overseas Disciples & Taoists, pls do prepare the necessary items to perform the Birthday Respect to Lao Zi.

ReplyDeleteAt the Left Altar at the lower Hall, the Lao Zi has been with Long Shan Si for a long time.
ReplyDeleteIt is made of pocerlain, hiding at one corner, if you will to take a closer look, you will be able to see it.
