The 10 Advises/Encouragements/Regulations of Taoism

一者勸助禮敬三寶，供養法師﹔

One: Honoring/Paying Respect to San Bao aka The Three Gems of Taoism (Dao Jing Shi), offerings to Taoist Masters/Spiritual Leaders

二者勸助治寫經書，令人世世聰明，博問好賾﹔

Two: Encourage others or self-practicing of writing Taoist Scriptures (in-order to bless the mortals with wisdom)

三者勸助建齋淨供，令人世世門戶高貴，身登天堂

Three: Encourage/advise others to engage in Taoist Rituals/giving offerings (in-order to bless the mortals with good lucks and able to attain immortal-hood)

四者勸助香油眾乏，令人世世芳盛，香潔光明，容眸絕偉，天姿高秀﹔

Four: Encourage/advise others to contribute incenses and joss-oils (in-order to bless the mortals with good future – brightness in all stuffs he/she get involved, and intelligent)

五者勸助法師法服，令人世世長雅，逍遙中國，不墜邊夷，男女端正，冠冕玉珮﹔

Five: Encourage/advise others to contribute Taoist Robes/apparels to Masters/Priests  (in-order to bless the mortals with good reborn/re-incarnation)

六者勸事國王父母子民忠孝，令人世世多嗣，男女賢儒，不更諸苦﹔

Six: Encourage/advise Royal members, commoners or anyone in this world to be Loyal, Filial and always with a “Heart of Gold”  (in-order to bless the mortals with good descendants, never engage into sufferings, etc)

七者勸助齋靜讀經，令人世世不墜地獄，即升天堂，禮見眾聖﹔

Seven: Encourage/advise others to study/recite Taoist Scriptures (in-order to bless the mortals with to gain enlightenment and never get into the Nether World of all sorts of sufferings)

八者勸助道士眾人經學，令人世世才智洞達，動靜威儀，常為人師﹔

Eight: Encourage/advise others to sponsor in Scripture learning/classes/course (in-order to bless the mortals with good knowledge and always being respect by the others)

九者勸助一切布施諫諍，令人世世壽考富樂，常無怨惱﹔

Nine: Encourage/advise others to do contributions to the needy (in-order to bless the mortals with longevity and never engage into trouble and stress)

十者勸助一切人民除嫉去欲，履行眾善。

Ten: Encourage/advise others to put down all greed and craving
