Xu Jia (徐甲) aka Xu Jia Zhen Ren (徐甲真人) or Master of Lv Shan Taoist Sect (閭山教主).
According to the limited records, Xu Jia was known to be born in the Spring Autumn Period (after BCE630), one of the disciples of Lao Zi (老子).
How Xu Jia become Lao Zi's disciple?
According to the record, while Lao Zi returned to his hometown after his resignation from the Imperial Court (朝廷), he passed back a deserted area and saw a pile of human skeleton.
After checking out on the pile of skeleton, Lao Zi started to feel sad for it and after some serious consideration, he decided to transform it back to the human form.
With the releasing of his secret spell on the skeleton, the skeleton turned back into a young man form. After asking, Lao Zi found out that the young man’s name was Xu Jia.
Since Xu Jia was being transformed back into the human form by Lao Zi, in-order to show his gratitude, Xu Jia decided to stay by Lao Zi's side to serve him as an assistant. From then, Xu Jia assisted Lao Zi by taking care of his bull.
After several hundred years, one day, Lao Zi transformed himself into a richman to test on Xu Jia. Due to the distraction of the Reality World, Xu Jia failed the test and so, Xu Jia had to do put in more effort in his cultivation.
With determination and under the supervision of Lao Zi, Xu Jia succeeded in his cultivation and within hundred years, Xu Jia got his Enlightenment.
After Lv Shan Taoist Sect (閭山派) was being founded, Xu Jia was imported into the Lv Shan Taoist Sect as one of the Spiritual Masters that impart and control Spiritual Skills.
